OMG. We’re all going to die from increasing the number of refugees granted entry to the US from…. 85,000 to 110,000 in the 2017 fiscal year starting Oct. 1 according to an annual refugee report to Congress obtained by The Wall Street Journal on Tuesday.

That’s a worldwide refugee figure. It’d include Christians from Syria and elsewhere in the Middle East, or other religious groups who seek refuge in the US.

The figure is set annually.

BTW, roughly 1 million people legally immigrate to the US each year in the past several years.

So, the figure is … lemme do the math.. roughly 10% of the total. It’s a rounding error for total immigration.

But it’s a world of difference for people seeking to escape the horrors of conflict zones like Syria, Turkey, Iraq, Africa (Sudan, Nigeria, etc.)
