Russian hacking and meddling in the election doesn’t seem to make much of an impression on a lot of people.

‘Trump took Russian money’ is the stuff that effective political ads are made of.

Russia has gone from being an arch enemy to a model to be emulated: oligarchic, authoritarian and theocratic. Only difference being that the GOP lean towards a fundamentalist Christian theocracy rather than a Russian Orthodox one.
