I have to disagree with you on the “always the firearms” part: it is much more a matter of the nearly unlimited access, the lack of liability laws for owners and dealers and the absence or non-enforcement of reasonable laws involving sale and handling of firearms.

Conservatives are not responsible enough to be allowed to have guns. They have no loyalty to America and could turn on their neighbors at any time.
