Here somebody posted a “cleared up version” and some of the folks here the same thing I hear - not [u:] but [ou].

He slowed down the playback on the third iteration, which elongates the vowel sound. There’s a reason I didn’t mess with pitch or timing, because that actually does perceptibly change the signal, vs. just removing noise. You’re hearing the elongation not the actual signal.

Regardless, what word does this create, and how does it make any sense in context?
