Just curious - have you listened to the recordings that have been edited to isolate the consonant sound at the beginning of the second word? Of course, confirmation bias is suspect (the influence of him constantly calling 911 about black males has to be there) - but those recordings to sound pretty conclusive to me that he’s using a racial epithet.

Yes, I - and others here - have listened to the raw recording, to the recording cleaned up by some TV team (CNN?), to the recording cleaned up by goddamnfrank. The results were the same.

And I assure you that the people listed in the previous comment aren’t out to defend GZ. We just don’t hear it.
