At the end of WWII, we held over 50% of the Planet’s GDP, and more Naval Forces than the rest of the World Combined, plus a massive airforce.

While we still had a large military afterwards, it was massively cut down from that. The US just after WWII was literally the most powerful nation in civilized history.

China will never make it to that point. They will likely be unable to produce large amounts of food, as the pollution and ill-regulated use has led to high toxicity and desertification.

Not to mention that China is now on a Demographic bomb, whose result I anticipate.

China doesn’t have enough viable land to feed its population, and even now imports most of its wheat from Anglosphere nations (Canada, the US, and Australia).
