I’d bet that his lawyers would plead sovereign immunity. And if he’s president, most likely everybody would shrug and say ‘okay.’

That’s another reason why Trump cannot become president.

If he knew there was some legal difficulty coming up that’s so bad he has to become President, it would explain a lot.
