OT: I just wrote out a check (I usually pay my bills over the internet) for another lousy looking picture ID card aka Driver’s License. Hmm. The last check I wrote was for my CPA.

That reminds me: When I get closer to done with all the account-closing stemming from the shop’s change of ownership, I need to go after my driver’s license again, and get it upgraded to a Real ID. Right now, it won’t get me on a commercial flight or into some restricted sites. I renewed my passport for that purpose. My old NM driver’s license was not an acceptable from of ID to get a new NM driver’s license, if I wanted the one without the yellow stripe across the top saying ‘NOT FOR FEDERAL PURPOSES’.
