I mentioned up thread my parents’ late great Ollie. My mom always had an early bedtime since she always got up at the crack of dawn. Ollie would sleep on my dad’s pillow and when he came to bed, Ollie would always softly growl at my dad when he tried to move Ollie off the pillow.

Ha ha - “this is my pillow dammit”
