All the utility trucks sent up to NJ and PA to deal with the ice storm here from down South are being recalled, because of the major storm about to hit there.
Meanwhile, forecasters in NYC metro are starting to worry me with their latest forecasts.

Channel 7 has been pretty good with forecasts this season, but Channel 11 has been better IMO.
The difference in the two forecasts so far? Channel 7 has real tight banding - you’re either going to get hammered, or you’re not seeing a whole lot of snow (the temps on LI will keep the snow totals down). Channel 11 has more snow over the entire area, with increases as you move north and west from NYC (suggesting the temps will be low enough for the entire area to get significant snow).
