My dad and I went to a game in DC, his wingnut friend gave him some grief about “those people.” I’m so glad my Dad faults and all isn’t like many men his age.

When I moved out to the Bay Area in 1982, people said things like “What about all the gays?*”

Okay, WHAT about the gays? I could never figure that out.

*Of course, only the more enlightened said ‘gays’.
