I used to love him. He was on my list of three people (dead or alive) I’d want to have lunch with. I was unaware it was his writers I really wanted to have lunch with until many years later.

I think we both started out on the same spot and found our way where we are now due to frustration. For me, it was how the left just bellyached about Kerry instead of rallying behind him in 2004.
