This was the risk-reward factor that I weighed the heaviest. My immediate family has been COVID-free. My parents have been COVID-free. My sister’s family has been COVID-free. That’s 10 people. The risk is less than the chart shows, but not zero. (Particularly when I learned that my sister and her husband attended what was supposed to be a large church dinner the day we arrived. Thankfully, it appears attendance was dramatically reduced, or else I would have had concerns.) I feel like, in my personal situation, we controlled enough risk to make it worth it. I would NEVER tell anyone else to do what I did; I took a risk, a calculated one, but not one I would ever try to sell to anyone else.
