This LG can handle king size comforters with ease because it doesn’t have the center agitator.

Key issue with LG is that if you’re short, trying to get items in/out is more difficult with a top loader than the front loader. The large capacity LG top loader drum makes for a bit of contortion for the mrs to get all her stuff out, but it’s easier for me (I’m 6’1).
