If you think I’m rooting for Roe to be overturned, in a way I am. It will be terrible, but apparently we need something terrible to happen to wake us up as we sleepwalk into fascism. If otoh, Roberts succeeds in coaxing Kavanaugh and/or Barrett into just upholding the Mississippi 15 week ban while revising Roe to protect abortions during the first 15 weeks, when most abortions happen anyway, the issue will kind of fizzle as the frog is slowly boiled, and a GOP takeover of Congress in the midterms is virtually assured.

Young women will bleed out after botched abortions. That’s a high price to wake idiots up.
