Chrysler, Cadillac, and Lincoln all had the same trend going. Lincoln was the last to downsize, in 1980. Mrs. Fish’s 1979 land yacht could rightly be called one of the last of the dinosaurs.

The New Yorker still echoed Chrysler’s oddball Imperial styling. Check out the rear seat windows and the tail lights.

Personally, I’m a big fan of the 1961-1963 Imperials, with the headlights on stalks. Wildly overdone!
