I keep trying to think of something, anything I can do to bring some joy and happiness back to the world. What I miss having is a sense of community in real life. It’s so hard here. This is a very red county, as are most of the surrounding areas. People are just so fucking MEAN right now. I know not everyone is like this, but I honestly am so tired of trying to find people who aren’t assholes who hate liberals that I want to quit. What our neighbors did to us has pretty much ruined my faith in the people around here. I know I shouldn’t generalize, but we were neighbors for 20 years and they just stopped talking to us once they got that check. They even screamed “FUCK YOU” at us from their front yard before they left. Why? They got 300K for a house that was worth about 175K (three 500K houses will go on their .88 acres out of the 18 her dad owned) and they are pissed at us? AND the developer let them take all the appliances, cabinets, windows, etc they wanted to use in their “dream home” they’re building on the 33 acres they bought about 30 miles north of here. And we’re the assholes?

Sigh. I hate Georgia. I really do.
