After listening to the Roy Moore quote on “creating new rights in 1965”, I think it makes sense that he was referring to the Griswold decision. These fundamentalist Christians are as opposed to contraception as they are to abortion. They are all in on the government regulating private consensual behavior between adults, even those who are married to each other.

Joy Reid had the Rev. Dr. Barber on and he thought this was all a play on civil and voting rights bills of ‘64 and ‘65 and a nod to the Alabama fundie religious racists. “Those” people and the ungodly Democrats and Immigrants are out to kill off Republicans don’t you know and it starts by taking down Roy Moore.
