Actually, there’s another twist on that over at TPM. Short story is that the pilot of Williams’ chopper says they did take fire, but it was small arms and not a RPG.

Someone posted last night about the unreliability of human memory, so maybe Williams should be cut some slack on that.

I’m not following, but there is also a distinction between “shot down” and “forced down”. Not sure what Williams claimed.
