A tragic hero in the classical sense of being great but having a fatal flaw.

Yeah, a very fatal flaw mind you but I think his contributions on civil rights need to be discussed. No offense intended to the boomers but I think we’ll get more discussion on that as more historians from other generations start contributing to the debate. I am not saying the critiques of LBJ and Vietnam are wrong, I’m merely stating they don’t tell the whole story that the man could have been a second FDR.
