They hate politicians and politics as usual. Trump sold himself as the ultimate outsider and anti-politician, and that allowed him to ignore or violate nearly every rule and convention of politics and campaigning and still prevail.

They claim to hate politics as usual but they also gave a resounding yes to keep the Congressional controlling party. So much of their proclaimed hatred for politics and politicians is bullshit. A lot of them just want people who look and think like them in office.
