Speaking of ignorance, or is it just being obtuse, did anyone see or hear the exchange between the DEA head and Trump at the meeting Trump had regarding the drug problems in this country?

The DEA guy went on to a long explanation of how all the Oxycontin and Hydrocodone pain killers giving out by MDs and the drug industry got people hooked on opioids, then when people are no longer given ‘scripts they switch to the much cheaper and now prevalent heroin.

Trump then asked something like: do you see numbers that show this started to increase due to the lax border protection of the last 6 or so years (that Obama guy again!)?

He totally missed the damn point the DEA guy was trying to make. It is the prescription drugs given out like candy for so many years that caused the problem…not the damn border walls.

The freaking border wall is not going to stop heroin from getting into this country.

Maybe, just maybe if we didn’t create so many drug users “legally” we might not have the illegal problems.
