This is really bad for Dowd. I don’t know the specific rules of the Federal Bar but this strikes me as all manner of unethical. The President’s private lawyers should not be discussing potential official acts with anybody. In doing so he broke the legal veil separating the President as an individual and the Office of the President.

Also, this is evidence that Flynn and his lawyers really have flipped and the investigation is going full bore into obstruction as the main cause of action.
