The congressional dormitory idea sounds like Christian wingnut Sen. Sasse wants to stay with the Family Christofascists over on C Street.

Dormitories don’t work — but what about an alternative like the better senior living facilities which provide a full apartment plus cafeterias and “restaurants” where residents can get together for meals? It’s costly to maintain a home in your district plus separate accommodations in DC. It’s a challenge for citizens of more modest means to run for office and this could alleviate some financial burdens.
