Yeah, me too. I’m sorry, but if there’s booze in my house, it’s because at some point in the near future I plan to get plastered. It’s not there for prestige or for looking at, it’s there for consumption and enjoyment (and, depending on the circumstances, maybe a fair amount of forgetting).

I’ve never been a drink to get drunk person. Too many confirmed alcoholics in my family. But I often kept a mini bar of some of the good stuff (including a bottle of cuban rum) in case I wanted a nice drink at some point. But I never had something just to have it as a piece of furniture/conversation piece
