Gazing through some of the archived stories on the original suit - the original arrest was back in 2005 - there’s a significant amount of speculation that may well have been a “Driving While Black” arrest. I’m not going to go that route, especially given the fact that cops have been known to taser 90-year-old ladies at the drop of a hat.
