Speaking of real Christians, I know it is a contradiction in terms, but I would like to see a mainstream Christian revisiting of the theme of “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God” with prosperity gospel and “God’s Own Party” heresies as the main targets.

It might be interesting, but I’m not sure that Jonathan Edwards’ brand of theology was precisely designed to bring rational thought into religious experience.
