A little OT rant. I haven’t investigated the details of the GPDR so I wont comment on it in general. However, requiring notification of cookies is fucking annoying. By using the internet I consent to the use of cookies, if I want to block them there are ways I can do that on my end. Instead now I have to click allow on every damn website(multiple times from different machines, tablets and phones).

I agree, and that’s why I tried to make the cookie notice at LGF as unobtrusive as possible. The GDPR is a pile of unnecessary bureaucratic bullshit and it’s not going to make anyone more secure or more private. But some of the penalties for non-compliance are absurdly harsh, so unfortunately I have to deal with it even though it really, really sucks.
