They said to beware of pickpockets in Barcelona too and tbh even though I was on my guard, I didn’t really worry about it after the first afternoon. In Ireland though, I walked around like I would here. I think the only thing keeping me from passing for a local was my obvious American accent and I think my complexion is a little darker than teh average Irishman.

Pickpockets are a universal affliction.
