You can’t call yourself a strong champion of civil rights when you’re on record of saying you would have voted against the most important civil rights legislation of last century and when you employed a “Confederate avenger.” Plus Rand needs to show respect to the AA community. His actions at Howard showed that he’s a total jerk who thinks AA voters are too stupid to know that the Republican Party once supported civil rights.
