Yeah I think we can make gains with Cruz as the nominee too. Cruz kind of has what Sanders has going for him on the Democratic side right now and that’s that he hasn’t been subject to much scrutiny. Cruz may in some ways be a worse GE candidate than Trump is.

The GOP will rally to Cruz though, as much as the establishment dislikes him, because at the end of the day he is a standard GOP politician with the same agenda as they have. Then a united GOP will focus on demonizing Hillary. With Trump as the nominee, much of the GOP will sit on its hands or even work against him, and he will galvanize Americans to come out and vote against him the way Cruz wouldn’t.
