No, things are not equal in partisanship today.

Never said they were. But if someone is unwilling to even discuss the possibility that fair is a subjective term it is no better than the Nordquist devotees who are unwilling to entertain even the notion of raising taxes.

It’s clear the GOP is off the rails, but it doesn’t mean the rest of us can’t still try to be adults. I’m tired of people invoking the magical balance fairy any time they get any criticism. Just because the other guys are insane it isn’t license to behave like a jerk.
