Nazi “environmentalism” was for the benefit of one people: other Nazis. Lebensraum was not about overpopulation, it was about replacing indigenous “inferior” people with German settlers deemed “superior” to the natives. Not unlike our own “Manifest Destiny,” though the Nazis didn’t cloak genocide in religious terms.
