Ending his tweets with ‘Thank you’ is the new ‘!!!!’

Where I work, everyone ends their email messages with a ‘thank you’ no matter what the subject and it’s become annoying and kind of a joke.

“The funding for your project has been cancelled. Thank you.”

I now try to use other sign-offs whenever possible.
