Churches give some people the feeling of security and comfort. Even as an atheist I wouldn’t want to take that from them.

I try to think like that. I can usually do it. Having been raised Catholic, I have the biggest problems with them in particular, but one or two of my immigration attorney friends is/are employed by them. The Catholics are doing a lot of work on the border, including in El Paso tonight.
