What’s all the complaining about PayGo from alleged leftists? Isn’t raising taxes on corporations and the extremely wealthy a way to solve the issue of insufficient money for government programmes?

This is not how the GOP will ever use it - they want it to remove medicare etc

It is bad economics, governments need the power to spend during a recession. They should NOT be overspending during growth times - and therein is the problem. Growth period, GOP reduces taxes, GOP spends - problem.
