I still don’t get why anyone who thinks they have a political future would want to be VP. Unless Biden flat out tells them that he’s not running for re-election in 2024, it still seems like the old proverbial bucket of warm piss. Why would anyone want to tie themselves entirely to someone else’s political fortunes?

Old logic doesn’t apply here is the gentlest way I can put it. We’re in an existential crisis, our basic health and safety is in the hands of a death cult and I’m fairly certain that all of the qualified candidates would feel honored to fill that roll if asked.
