I’ve heard various stories about this, that “the unions” didn’t want foreign help with this. If that were the case, honestly, I would be perfectly happy with jobs going to US citizens rather than foreign citizens. The job situation is one of the reasons I want that moratorium lifted.

Anyhow - I haven’t seen anything super credible about foreign aid generally being turned down, mainly just general bitching about this or that specific offer.

I don’t believe anything Gates says, or whatever Fox news says….my cynicism is off the scale….I want to see a swarm of activity with my own eyes, and I don’t because it’s not there…the gulf is dying while people twitter about with their heads up their ass
