All of the Right makes the same mistake of seeing the Democratic Party as party composed of white men, like the GOP, that panders to women, minorities, and LGBT folks for votes. They don’t see that the Party is COMPOSED OF women, minorities, and LGBT folks - and some white men - and that the reason those groups are now Democrats is that we take them and their concerns seriously.

make inroads to influence and take over an existing party rather than build their own
bernie is trying to pull it left
they are trying to pull it right
