The problem with Reagan is the image of the kindly grandfather who ended communism. I will grant real Reagan was better and more practical than the conservative myth but I dislike more about the man than I like. I try to understand people in the context of their times and I guess that’s why I have a hard time overlooking the race baiting and piss poor response to aids. I also find him patronizing especially to his opposition.
