These guys often *want* to out in a blaze of glory. I’d much rather he was put on trial and spend several years contemplating his (probably inevitable) execution. Shooting police officers to avoid arrest would count as special circumstances, wouldn’t it?

I hope the guy is killed today by his own hand or by the cops. Within the next minute or two. Buried by Thursday in Potters Field in an unmarked grave, not to be remembered on Friday.

Is that harsh?
