We have gone open source with our Enterprise Software for the last 5 years.
Our SANS systems can connect to any Platform OS and read the Data.. Does matter if it is MS, Sun, HP, EMC, It is a hugely successful platform for us..
Open source is the future.. I promise you

I hope so, but until Linux is as easy for people to use as Windows or whatever the most recent version of the MAC OS is, it’s not going to get the market share.
