The monsoon is a sight to behold on a mildish day. Not great fun right under it, or near a flash flood. Might be about as major a natural event as one can safely witness or photograph up close. Just not in a river bed or top of the local hills maybe. See that at golden hour for the first time it’s truly breathtaking.

In a well-behaved monsoon season, we have sunny skies every morning, fluffy clouds building up for the afternoon rain, and it clears up overnight. This one is making up for lost time with overnight rain, morning rain, and afternoon rain.

I just disappointed a would-be customer because I have inadequate rain wear for his girlfriend sitting in the restaurant across the street.
