Seeing lots of back and forth about the use of the term “emergency”, recall, etc., and the reality is no one really knows why Pence cancelled the trip to NH. We may surmise that Trump was in a snit over something, or they know some real bad news is about to break, or that the House Democrats suit over Trump’s tax records just broke in the Democrats’ direction.

But none of that suggests an actual emergency.

That could be because an official used the term “emergency” in announcing the event was canceled.
