That’s not it at all: The gun-banners I wrote about want Starbucks boycotted for not telling “gun carriers [to] leave their pieces in the car”. That’s not asking someone to do something, that’s demanding someone stop someone else from doing something. That’s a very different kettle of fish.

What if the “gun banners” were simply asking Starbucks politely to ask customers to leave their firearms in their cars, rather than staging a boycott? Would you have a problem with that?
