McConnell is one of the truly great villains of American legislative history, and I think you have to go back to the Calhoun era to find someone who did this kind of damage. Of course, note how he uses “mob” to describe sexual assault survivors. This is something Rod Dreher and other conservatives use with regularity to denigrate and impugn any liberal gathering or movement.

#BLM is a mob. #metoo is a mob. Telling Lindsey Graham you were attacked means you are part of a mob.

This is a tool of white male power. If you are not working with them, you are part of a mob led by Robespierre, St Just, Danton and Desmoulins.
