Toddler gets hold of mom’s gun, shoots pregnant mom in face.

Charge the parents. They failed to properly secure the gun. Hold them responsible for their criminal acts.

They were criminally negligent in handling firearm.

And do this in every one of these cases.

Zero tolerance. She put her family at risk by failing to properly secure the gun.

So of course the responses are predictable in that we should charge before or after face surgery. As if that’s stopped prosecutors from charging criminals bedside.

She endangered the welfare of minor(s). Prosecute. This isn’t difficult. This isn’t even hard. But apparently there are folks who think that being shot is sufficient penalty.
