He had nothing to offer first responders back then. He was always thinking in terms of what it could do for him.

I used to catalog the recovery and rebuilding efforts on a daily basis. I went down to the site occasionally and posted photos.

The only times Trump got involved in the discussion was to claim that he could rebuild faster and bigger than anyone else. No one took him seriously. No one.

He was always out to sell himself as a brand, not because he cared about anyone but himself and his profits.
