Reminder:

The Rodney King riots weren’t because cops beat the crap out of Rodney. Nobody rioted when the tape came out.

The riots were because the trial court, judge and jury, shrugged it off. Because the “justice” system called it no big deal.

That probably should go up on social media.

The community waited for a proper condemnation and punishment to be handed down by the courts. The riots occurred because of justice denied.

There is a reason for the phrase “no justice, no peace,” and Rodney King’s beating by the police and subsequent acquittal of those accused despite the video evidence is what sparked the protests and riots.
