To me understanding is a two-way street. You need to learn why someone wants a gender change and why others may be totally repulsed. The problems always start when the walls are built and the doors closed.

I do happen to be trans woman…and the issue is rather opaque even to those of us who have to live with it.

I also wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy.
